KTH celebrates the Nobel week with webcast in China

Published Dec 13, 2017

KTH, in collaboration with Scientific American, celebrated the Nobel week with two webcast discussions about the Nobel prize in chemistry and physics, respectively. Prof. Gunnar Björk and the APHYS Ph.D. student Katarina Stensson had an almost hour-long discussion about The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO), the instrument that finally detected gravitational waves. This observation rendered some of the instrument’s inceptors and chief scientists the Nobel prize in physics for 2017.

The discussion, in English with Chinese voice-over, can be watched here v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzIxODYyNjI5Mg==.html?spm=a2h3j.8428770.3416059.1
