Department of Applied Physics
Our research covers a variety of subfields from biophysics to photonics and nanophysics with an emphasis on quantum physics. The majority of the activities are experimental and are conducted in a variety specialized laboratories as well as common facilities such as the Nanofabrication Laboratory, the KTH laser lab and the Bioimaging facility.
The department is a part of the School of Engineering Sciences
