Workshop - ARPES in Sweden

Venue

The workshop will be digital and is organized via Zoom.

Please contact mhbe@kth.se to get the Meeting ID or Zoom link.

Dates

October 5 (Tuesday) – October 6 (Wednesday), 2021.

Registration

Registration is closed.

Scope

We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming workshop “ARPES in Sweden”, to discuss the status and future development of angle resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES) in Sweden. The aim of the workshop is two-fold. Firstly, we want to create a forum where ARPES groups at Swedish universities can meet to exchange experiences and ideas and to spark a renewed interest in this experimental technique, resulting in a stronger ARPES community in Sweden in the future. Secondly, by bringing together a community of Swedish researchers from different fields of research we want to discuss how to expand the Swedish ARPES user base, identify the needs and develop science cases for future upgrades of ARPES beamlines at MAX IV. We also want to create a platform for submitting a formal Expression of Interest to MAX IV, due in November 2021 as part of the ongoing MAX IV science-driven and open Roadmap process.
