Abstract:

Quantum materials is a class of materials that display quantum mechanical properties on a macroscopic scale. It encompasses magnetic, superconducting and topological materials among others. In this talk I will introduce a few examples of this type of materials and talk about the work we have done and are doing in the Quantum Matter group to study these materials.
