The presentation will give an overview of the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, which is the basic research function. The European Office of Aerospace Research and Development, which funds research in Europe is introduced. The directed energy portfolio is then discussed. The different types and f grants and how to apply are then discussed.
