Abstract:

My laboratory develops optical methods for applied biological imaging using diffractive Fourier optics methods. In aberration-corrected multifocus microscopy (MFM, Abrahamsson et al. Nat. Methods 2013) we capture truly simultaneous 3D wide-field images for fast live imaging. Combining MFM with Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM) we add optical sectioning and 3D super-resolution capability to this imaging system.
