Optical quantum sensing
VR forskningsmiljö (Swedish Research Council Research Environment)
Quantum sensing, the application of quantum phenomena to precision measurements offers the prospect of performances beyond those allowed by classical physics. Our research environment was created in 2017 with support from the Swedish Research Council ().
Its mission is to bring together the expertise in nanofabrication, condensed matter theory, quantum optics, superconductivity and biomolecular spectroscopy present at KTH, to enable a new generation of quantum sensors to be exploited in applications to biology and environmental monitoring.
