Open faculty position in WACQT

Assistant Professor in Quantum Optics

The Department of Applied Physics is now recruiting a WACQT Assistant Professor in Quantum Technology, with a focus on experimental quantum optics for communication and sensing, and a placement in the Nanostructure Physics unit, located at AlbaNova.
The position is part of WACQT’s prestigious Fellowship program designed to recruit internationally recognized early-career researchers to strengthen Sweden's academic community in quantum technology. The Assistant Professor will receive a WACQT start-up package of 12 MSEK, contributing to her/his salary and covering PhD student and postdoc positions, as well as research running costs at KTH over the first 4 years. The position is tenure-track, and KTH will assume the long-term responsibility of its support as tenured faculty.
Eligible candidates should have a PhD awarded not more than 5 years prior to the application deadline, excluding law-entitled leave.
