Welcome to the Albanova Nanolab!

The Albanova Nanolab, situated on floor 1 of the Albanova University Center, is an open multi-user facility that offers a wide range of equipment and expertise in exploratory micro- and nanofabrication, and most types of scanning probe microscopy.

Membership is obtained via a fee that covers the training and use of all equipment in the lab. For short term access and use of specific tools, access is available at hourly rates.

We provide contract fabrication and measurement services to academic and industrial customers, with hourly rates for tool and operator time. read more..

Micro- and Nanostructure Fabrication

The Nanolab provides access to a complete toolbox for exploring and testing "top down" micro- and nanostructure fabrication. with electron beam lithography, optical lithography and focused ion beam SEM, and most necessary coating and wet and dry etching techniques.

Characterization

Scanning electron microscopy, stylus and optical profilometry and our focus area of atomic force microscopy (AFM) are used to characterize the dimensional, mechanical and electrical nature of materials at the nanoscale! From materials science to life science, a wide range of samples can be studied in controlled environments, including air, liquid, controlled temperature and humidity
