The Bioimaging lab is equipped for both live and fixed cell observation, as well as imaging of various non-biological samples. The lab was started in 2003 after a generous funding from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg foundation. The equipment includes:

Much more confocal microscopy equipment is avilable at the Biophysics site at the
Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab). Superresolution microscopy, including STED, SIM, PALM/STORM, is available at the
Advanced Light Microscopy (ALM) facilities at SciLifeLab, which is a national facility, open for applicants from all over Sweden.
