Title: On-chip light sources for Photonic Integrated Circuits
Abstract: This presentation concerns the development of on-chip light sources. This includes the work on nano-island lasers with record-low thresholds (210nW, CW at Room-temperature), as well as Si & III-V integration and experimental demonstration of record-high Purcell enhancement using a metallic nano-cavity.
