Title: Applications of nanofocused hard X-rays

Abstract: Hard X-rays are uniquely suited for investigating samples in their natural state, due to the long penetration depth. Recent years has seen a dramatic reduction in the size of X-ray foci and the brightness of hard X-ray sources. I will discuss how nanofocused X-rays can be used for probing and exciting nanostructures, in particular for in situ and in operando studies.
